Who we are

Our annual assembly brings together UU's and affiliates from the 50 churches located in the Pacific Southwest who were once tethered together under the Pacific Southwest District umbrella.  Like the assemblies of yesteryear, congregational representatives participate in meaningful exchanges and exciting workshops.

In the spirit of the former district assembly, we invite UUs and affiliated people to join in our Blue Sapphire reflection--65 years of UU historywith a look ahead as we strive for Justice.

About the Event

The annual Pacific Southwest Assembly on April 24-26, 2026, is at the Pacific Unitarian [Universalist] campus in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.  This Assembly is a unique creation of workshops, music, and keynote speakers.

Assembly planners seek to bring progressive groups and representatives from fifty Pacific southwest Unitarian Universalist fellowships, congregations, churches, and societies together in the spirit of a sixty-five-year tradition based on the model of the old district assemblies.

Get Involved

Workshops suggested for this year include a cappella singing, supporting social justice, a review of what to do in the face of current immigration policies, a musical tale of how to get along, and resilience based on interdependence.
